About the Job
Senior Data Warehouse Implementer. This person will ensure accurate, timely and actionable information is produced by utilizing the appropriate data warehousing architecture and implementing appropriate data marts. Guarantee data warehousing functionality is consistent with the overall Corporate Data Warehousing architecture and maintain the ETL scripts, as well as the jobs that are required to extract, transform, clean, move data, and so that it can be loaded into a data warehouse, data mart, or operational data store. This person would also train, coaches, and mentors team members and develop complex ETL processes, test (unit level, integration level, system level, and user acceptance level) complex ETL processes, implement and support ETL goals and objectives.

What is expected from the Senior Data Warehouse Implementer
The incumbent should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field or equivalent experience. A post graduate degree or course work a plus. They should also have a minimum of 5 years IT experience to include at least 3 years experience required in data warehousing, relational database management systems, and multi-dimensional database management systems. A demonstrated knowledge of at least one ETL tool such as Ascential DataStage (or comparable ETL tool) and CoSort (or comparable sorting utility) is also required. Knowledge of Data Warehousing data population techniques for target structures such as Star Schemas, Snowflake Schemas, and highly normalized data models is required. Along with strong relational database knowledge; possesses a broad understanding of the current and prospective data architecture, and database performance tuning. Strong familiarity of Business Intelligence implementation, using tools such as Hyperion, Business Objects, Micro Strategy, Cognos, SAS, or WebFocus is desirable. Experience using the Rational Unified Process (RUP), and associated tools is desirable. Experience with programming languages such as UNIX scripting, Java, or COBOL as well as strong ETL staging environment development skills and strong programming skills SQL in a DB2 environment.

Database Business Analyst (7151B)
Description: The Database/Business Analyst role is to direct, evaluate, review and manage resources and services across our client’s organization while ensuring high levels of data quality associated with the Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) software suite and business object development in .Net (C# and/or VB). The incumbent is also responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing the data base policies and procedures, building and testing of financial reports to ensure the integrity and availability of the databases and business objects.
What is expected: You will develop and administer strategies for control and sharing of our client company’s databases and business reports. 5-7 years of relevant work experience is a must. The incumbent should have a strong understanding of database management and business financial reports development and an in-depth knowledge of SQL, Access, DB2 and Lotus Notes. 3 years of full lifecycle development experience using C#.Net, or VB.Net is a must have for this role. Hands on experience with database tuning is also a plus.
